Martin Casts Spell Over Providence, as Titans Win Wednesday, August 30th , 2017 The Providence Grays met their match today in Long Beach hurler Lamar Martin. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 4-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Providence skipper Bill Flohrs said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 7-0 victory, Martin whiffed 16 and gave up no walks.
