Brooklyn-Franklin Brawl, Humby and Plummer Suspended Monday, August 28th , 2017 If there wasn't a history between Nate Humby of Brooklyn and Jessie Plummer of Franklin, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 2 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Humby said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." For the season, Humby is batting .223 with 73 hits and 9 home runs. He has scored 54 times and batted in 39. Plummer has started 8 times this year, pitched 55.1 innings, fanned 63 batters and walked 26. His current record is 3 wins and 5 losses with a 4.55 ERA. |
