Brooklyn's de Bruin Snaps Up Player of the Week Monday, August 28th , 2017 So far in his young career, Ferdie de Bruin has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Eastern Amateur Circuit in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Brooklyn Atlantics shortstop hit at a torrid .478 clip as he collected 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and 5 runs scored. de Bruin currently has a .324 batting average with 148 hits, 26 homers, 69 RBIs, 88 runs scored and a .416 OBP. |
