The Math Says - St. Petersburg Out of Playoffs Sunday, August 27th , 2017 Benito Morales said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the St. Petersburg Pelicans after they missed the Amateur Baseball Circuit playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. This is the club's 4th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2013. In total, the Pelicans have missed the playoffs 6 times in their 10-year history. St. Petersburg has won the Amateur Circut Cup 3 times in their history. |
