WAC Player of the Week Selected Monday, August 21st , 2017 Swinging a hot stick last week, Jalen Baker picked up the Western Amateur Circuit Player of the Week Award today. The 21-year-old shortstop for El Paso lashed 18 hits in 33 at-bats as he put together a .545 average with 1 home run. Baker also drove in 10 runs, scored 12 times and compiled a .605 OBP. For the year, Baker is batting .486 with 18 hits and 1 home run. He has scored 12 times and driven in 10. |
