Battalion Hillman Lost for Year Monday, July 17th , 2017 The doctors have spoken and Kenny Hillman of the Boston Battalion didn't like what he heard. The 28-year-old center fielder is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Hillman sustained his season-ending injury during the Franklin Knights game yesterday at Boston Field. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing the ball. Today the Boston medical staff reported Hillman had a torn labrum and would be absent from the lineup for at least 5 months. So far this season, Hillman is hitting .192 with 1 home run. |
