San Diego CL Ben Lanahan Injured Friday, July 7th , 2017 Ben Lanahan of the San Diego Aztecs was injured in today's game against Dallas and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is shoulder inflammation, and he is expected to be out for up to 5-6 months. It happened while Lanahan was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." This season, in 23 relief appearances, Lanahan has rung up 7 saves. He has 35 strikeouts and 5 walks in 30.1 innings while registering a 1.48 ERA and a 2-4 won-lost record. Opposing teams have hit .189 against him. |
