Season Ends for Sung-hyun Kim of Houston Tuesday, July 4th , 2017 The season is finished for Sung-hyun Kim of the Houston Apollos. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Apollos reliever suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Arlington Stars. Team doctors said it would take at least 15 months to heal. To date this year, Kim has saved 1 games while tossing 12.1 innings. He has a 6.57 ERA, fanned 22 batters and made 8 relief appearances. |
