Phil Penfield Injured, Out for Season Tuesday, June 13th , 2017 The season is ending on a bad note for Phil Penfield, closer for the Manhattan Liberty. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Penfield was hurt against the Boston Battalion while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for at least 9 months. |
