Marion Raps Tulsa for 5 Hits Monday, June 12th , 2017 Ed Marion exploded for a barrage of base hits at Tulsa Park. The New Orleans center fielder had a field day in his team's 8-3 triumph over the Tulsa Twisters, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Marion must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Ed Marion singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run triple in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Hitting .336 to date, Marion has 4 home runs and 28 RBIs.
