Chapman Shuts Out Albuquerque
The Albuquerque Coyotes were almost helpless in their 3-0 loss to the New Orleans Buccaneers and hurler Chris Chapman. Chapman kept the Coyotes confused all game, spinning a 4-hit shutout.

"Tip your hat to Chapman," Albuquerque manager Josh Larsen said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night."

The 24-year-old left-hander had 5 walks and 6 strikeouts in a strong performance.

"It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Chapman said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way."

So far this year, Chapman has a 3-4 record with a 1.97 ERA.
