Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Nielsen Wednesday, July 13th , 2016 Isac Nielsen of the Los Angeles (R) Knights extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 1 hit in today's 6-2 triumph over the El Paso (R) Diablos at PBC Rookie Development Complex. "Isac has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Knights manager Bob Barnett joked after the game. Isac Nielsen singled in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. This season, Nielsen is batting .378 with 4 home runs. |
