Tyler Hemrick Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Wednesday, June 29th , 2016 Tyler Hemrick of the Warriors just might have to call it quits for the season. The 19-year-old Washington (R) closer received a possible season-ending injury against the Dallas (R) Texans recently at PBC Rookie Development Complex. Hemrick suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch. The Warriors medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 7 months. This season, Hemrick has worked 5.2 innings in 6 relief appearances and picked up no saves. He has dished out 8 strikeouts and walked 4 with a 0-1 mark and a 15.88 ERA. |
