Titans Top Thunder Monday, October 17th , 2016 The Toronto (R) Titans pulled out all the stops tonight, winning the Championship Cup in a hard-fought series with the Tampa Bay (R) Thunder. It was a seesaw affair, but with a 3-1 victory at PBC Rookie Development Complex, Toronto (R) lay claim to the franchise's 1st championship. "There's no denying we faced a tough opponent," said Ashley Caporn. "But as the old saying goes, 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going,' and that's what we did today." The champs finished the regular season 53-35 and claimed first place in the Rookie Complex League North Division. A victory parade is set to be scheduled in Toronto (R) in the days to come.
