Thunder Move on to Championship Cup Thursday, October 6th , 2016 The Tampa Bay (R) Thunder are on to the Championship Cup, having knocked out the Atlanta (R) Pilots 3-1. The final blow came tonight at PBC Rookie Development Complex, where Tampa Bay (R) sealed the Cup Qualifier with a 1-0 triumph. Greg Baxter was instrumental in the series win and was given MVP honors. Baxter hit .438 with a .471 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 2 runs.
