September's Best Starter Named in R Saturday, October 1st , 2016 September was a very good month for Luke Laurent of the Detroit (R) Motors. He held opposing hitters for a .196 average and took home the PBC Rookie Complex League Pitcher of the Month award. In 10 starts he claimed a 6-2 record as he put up a 1.26 ERA and struck out 77 in 64.1 innings. On his stats sheet this season, Laurent shows a 14-6 record, 27 starts, 175 innings, 230 strikeouts and a 2.21 ERA. |
