Murillo Awarded September's R Top Bat Prize Saturday, October 1st , 2016 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 18 Lander Murillo has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Las Vegas (R) Aces star can enjoy the numbers he put up in September, which have garnered him the nod as the PBC Rookie Complex League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .406 average with 7 home runs, 25 RBIs and 15 runs scored. This season in 88 games, Murillo is batting .342 with 15 home runs, 63 RBIs and has scored 52 times. |
