Year Over for Diablos Chapa Tuesday, September 20th , 2016 El Paso (R) second baseman Vinny Chapa suffered a season-ending injury colliding with a player at a base in today's game against the Pilots. According to club doctors Chapa has a fractured elbow. Although Chapa has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. A look at his season totals shows Chapa with 3 home runs, .236 BA, .300 OBP, 18 RBIs and 19 runs scored. |
