Manhattan Starting Pitcher Hurt Friday, September 2nd , 2016 The Manhattan Liberty were dealt a blow today when starting pitcher Jordan Garcia left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Garcia has suffered a damaged elbow ligament and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. Garcia has made 7 starts so far this year and put up a 7-5 won-lost record with a 2.94 ERA. In 79.2 innings he has allowed 63 hits, walked 58 and struck out 97. |
