Providence Crowned Kings of the Eastern Amateur Circuit Friday, September 2nd , 2016 The celebrations were on in full force in the Providence Grays clubhouse today as the team clinched the Eastern Amateur Circuit title for the 6th time. Left Fielder Matt Mills said the team "expected the result and put in the work to get it." "Teams in the Eastern Amateur Circuit should be sitting up and taking notice about us now I'd say," he said of the club and its 78-65 record. Providence will be vying for its 2nd Amateur Baseball Circuit championship once playoffs get underway. |
