Western Amateur Circuit Selects August's Best Batter Thursday, September 1st , 2016 Danny Munoz made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the Western Amateur Circuit this past month. The Yuma Gnomes center fielder shined through the month of August and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 20-year-old hit .309 with 9 home runs, 22 RBIs and 22 runs scored. For the season, Munoz is batting .227 with 97 hits and 24 home runs. He has scored 84 times and batted in 70. |
