Season May Be Over for Oilers Lambert Tuesday, August 30th , 2016 Josh Lambert has to call it a season. The Oil City Oilers third baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the Manhattan Liberty and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Lambert was injured while colliding with a player at a base. His doctors diagnosed it as a fractured fibula and stated that he would not be able to play for 4 months. This season, Lambert is batting .345 with 15 RBIs, 28 runs scored and 4 home runs. |
