Injury Sidelines Mike Potkay For Year Saturday, August 27th , 2016 The season is finished for Mike Potkay of the Tulsa Twisters. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Twisters third baseman suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the San Diego Aztecs. Team doctors said it would take at least 4-5 months to heal. This year, Potkay is hitting .336, produced 14 RBIs and 2 home runs, scored 20 times and gotten on base at a .393 rate. |
