Lonie Gone for Season in St. Petersburg Friday, August 12th , 2016 Disappointing news today for St. Petersburg Pelicans fans. Nash Lonie was hurt throwing a pitch in their game against the Manhattan Liberty and has a torn ulnar collateral ligament. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return, but said it was likely the injury will keep the reliever out at least 12 months. Looking at his season stats to date, Lonie has 3 saves in 16 relief appearances with a 1-1 record and 1.40 ERA. |
