WAC's Top Hitter Selected Monday, August 1st , 2016 New Orleans Buccaneers fans may just have witnessed a star player blossoming before their eyes in July. Alan Boone put up a remarkable month at the age of 24 and has been named the Western Amateur Circuit Batter of the Month. For the month, Boone hit .390 with 9 home runs, 21 RBIs and 24 runs scored. Boone is batting at a .366 pace this season, picking up 53 hits in 145 at-bats with 10 home runs, 25 RBIs and 33 runs scored. |
