Toshifumi Ogawa Hurt, Out for Year Sunday, July 31st , 2016 Toshifumi Ogawa is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Long Beach organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 5 months with bone chips in his elbow. The 34-year-old reliever suffered the injury throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Manchester Monarchs. |
