Allison Cracks 5 Hits Saturday, July 30th , 2016 All game long, Franklin's Mike Allison was rattling the walls at Ballpark of Franklin and banging out base hits against the St. Petersburg Pelicans. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Knights had a win, 14-1. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 24-year-old left fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Mike Allison singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far this season, Allison has put up a .326 batting average with 15 hits, 2 home runs and 9 RBIs. View Boxscore |
