Krug Fans 15 Battalion Saturday, July 30th , 2016 Fort Wayne Farmers starter Rick Krug brought his best stuff to Farmers Field against the Boston Battalion, striking out 15 batters in his club's 5-0 victory. In a strong performance, the 28-year-old Krug gave up 2 hits in his 7.1 innings of work and issued 2 walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my fastball was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me." Krug has made 22 starts so far this year and put up a 6-6 won-lost record with a 4.30 ERA. In 136 innings he has allowed 108 hits, walked 83 and struck out 207. View Boxscore |
