Collier Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Thursday, July 28th , 2016 No matter what the Dallas Bulls threw at him, Jake Collier hit it. He easily handled Bulls pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Mavericks triumph, 11-7, at Dallas Park. "The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Collier's quip, Bulls skipper Dorian Harmon said he "would take him up on that next time." Jake Collier singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.
