Red-Hot Hodges Cools Off Houston Monday, July 25th , 2016 Rich Hodges hurled nothing but zeros at the Houston Apollos in an impressive outing at Houston Park. The Hollywood pitcher allowed 4 hits, fanned 9, and walked 6 in blanking Houston, 10-0. "There were a lot of frustrated guys walking back to the dugout," Houston manager Ken Tyler said. "Not a fun day." To date this season, Hodges sports a 5-2 mark with a 2.65 ERA in 8 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .202 batting average and has 67 strikeouts in 54.1 innings.
