Manhattan's Manny Cabrera Injured Thursday, July 21st , 2016 Manny Cabrera has to call it a season. The Manhattan Liberty starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Providence Grays and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Cabrera was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 11-12 months. This season, Cabrera has fashioned a 2-3 mark and 3.81 ERA in 28.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .275 against him and he has logged 24 strikeouts. |
