2016 EAC Pitcher of the Year Award Named Sunday, September 25th , 2016 It was a dream season for Rick Krug of Fort Wayne Farmers. He pitched his way to a 8-7 record and carted off the 2016 Eastern Amateur Circuit Pitcher of the Year Award. Working 163.2 innings this year, Krug made 27 starts, struck out 249 and crafted a 4.18 ERA. He gave up 132 hits and 103 walks and limited other teams to a .221 average. He received 19 first place votes out of a possible 20. Brad Lahl of the Oil City Oilers finished second in voting, while Tyler Corbin of the Providence Grays finished third with 1 first place vote.
