Oliver Named 2015 ABC Most Valuable Player Award Winner Wednesday, October 28th , 2015 Per Oliver of the Franklin Knights proved that you can step out of the shadows and onto the stage if you've got the talent and the drive to hone your skills. Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the Amateur Baseball Circuit Most Valuable Player Award. Oliver hit for a .376 average while collecting 127 hits, 18 doubles, 3 triples, 11 home runs, 50 RBIs and scoring 81 times. He received 13 first place votes out of a possible 20. Jose Aleman of the St. Petersburg Pelicans finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while John McMahon of the Brooklyn Atlantics finished third.
