Mooris Shuts Out Detroit, 9-0 Sunday, August 7th , 2016 Kevin Mooris kept the Detroit Motors hitters from doing much damage at Inferno Field. Detroit could only muster 7 hits and draw 1 walk against the right-handed Mooris, who controlled them throughout the game. El Paso won the contest, 9-0. Mooris added 10 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Mooris told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time." To date this season, Mooris sports a 8-3 mark with a 4.40 ERA in 12 starting assignments.
