El Paso Wins Cup Qualifier Saturday, October 15th , 2016 The El Paso Diablos are off to the Pro Circuit Cup. By a final score of 7-0 at Inferno Field, El Paso ended the Cup Qualifier and knocked out the Houston Mavericks by a series score of 4-2. "Two great teams, only one can go on and we're happy that's us," said Aaron Shelby, who was named series MVP. "There's no easy games, no easy series in the Professional Baseball Circuit playoffs." For the series, Shelby hit .455 with a .581 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 6 runs.
