Hit Streak Now at 25 for Beveridge Friday, September 30th , 2016 Chris Beveridge collected 1 hit in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 25 games. His club, the San Francisco Peanuts, beat the Philadelphia Keystones, 2-0. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Beveridge quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Chris Beveridge flied out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th and struck out in the 8th. Thus far this year, Beveridge has hit .345 with 17 home runs and 55 RBIs. |
