Playoffs Won't Happen for Titans Thursday, September 29th , 2016 That they came exceptionally close to qualifying for the playoffs will likely provide little solace for fans of the Toronto Titans -- the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. "I don't expect the fans to be happy with us," said Titans first baseman Matt Nailer. "We're not happy with ourselves." The Titans have missed the playoffs 10 times in their 11 years as a Professional Baseball Circuit franchise.
