Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Beveridge Saturday, September 24th , 2016 Chris Beveridge, right fielder for the San Francisco Peanuts, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit in his club's 5-1 victory over the Denver Cutthroats at Garibaldi's Grounds. "Not the outcome we wanted," Denver manager Keven Berman said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Chris Beveridge grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and hit an RBI single in the 7th. For the year, Beveridge has hit .335 with 15 home runs, 52 RBIs and scored 63 runs. |
