The Math Says - Chicago Out of Playoffs Wednesday, September 21st , 2016 It's not quite the championship run that fans in Chicago might have envisioned. The Chicago Union were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. "There are a lot of good clubs in Professional Baseball Circuit and unfortunately we couldn't quite make it into that elite group this year," said Union manager Ron Chiu. This is the club's 13th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2003. In total, the Union have missed the playoffs 15 times in their 17-year history. |
