Los Angeles Eliminated from Playoff Contention Tuesday, September 20th , 2016 It wasn't meant to be for the Los Angeles Knights this year. Despite a tough battle, they were eliminated from playoff contention today. "It is a bad feeling," said Knights closer Luke Dickerson. "Once you get into the playoffs, anything can happen. But you've gotta get in there first, and we weren't able to do that." Los Angeles last appeared in the postseason in 2013. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 16 times in their 17-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Knights have only made the playoffs once. |
