Jackson Honored by Professional Baseball Circuit Monday, September 19th , 2016 Dallas fans have something to crow about today as Dallas center fielder Kamar Jackson nabbed the Professional Baseball Circuit Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Jackson. He posted a .455 average (10-for-22) this past week with 3 home runs, 6 RBIs, and 7 runs scored. This season, Jackson is batting .319 with 94 hits, 22 home runs, 56 RBIs, .386 OBP and has scored 42 runs. |
