The Las Vegas Aces topped the Denver Cutthroats, 6-5, with youngster Mitsujiro Kondo playing a key role. Kondo slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Aces in the win. Billy Morris picked up the win in relief for Las Vegas, while Jonathan Benders took the loss. The Aces have an impressive 43-20 record.

In the bottom of the ninth, with the score tied, Kondo hammered a solo home run to win it for Las Vegas.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Aces manager Casey Lyman.
