A good performance from left fielder Justin Freeman helped the Toronto Titans defeat the Chicago Union, 7-5. Freeman went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs for the Titans. With the win, Toronto upped its record to 21-18.

The Titans benefited from a costly error in the top of the fifth. With Paolo van Bragt at bat and Toronto leading 2-1, the Chicago miscue allowed Toronto to plate 1 and take the lead, 3-1.

"It's still just a game," said Freeman, "whether you win or lose."
