The Denver Cutthroats and El Paso Diablos delighted fans at Inferno Field.

The El Paso Diablos powered past the Denver Cutthroats, 10-4, at Inferno Field. Kevin Brown provided some of the pop. Mr. Chips went 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He drove in 6 runs and scored once. Jesse Steele went 7.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits. The left-hander struck out 10 and walked 2. With the win, he ups his record to 4-2 this season.

Ryan Burton, who is tied for 10th in the PBC with a .941 OPS, helped out the El Paso cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the center fielder was 2-3 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 4 runs.

"We hit the ball hard," said El Paso manager Joe Peters. "Line drive after line drive."

The win for the Diablos lifted their record to 24-10.
