Starting pitcher Alex Johnson fulfilled his part of the bargain, helping the El Paso Diablos stymie the Chicago Union, 8-2. Johnson got the win, improving to 4-0. He gave up 6 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. He allowed 2 runs. El Paso is now 23-8, 2½ games up in the PBC West Division.
