Pfeiffer Hits 3 Bombs in 6-3 Win
|
The Los Angeles Knights picked up a win, 6-3, over the Las Vegas Aces at Caesers Palace Colosseum. Bob Pfeiffer led the charge. The Milwaukee, Wisconsin native hit 3 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring three times for Los Angeles. Jorge Ramos, who is tied for 4th in the PBC in complete games with 2, was the winner. He's now 1-3. The loser was Jack Scott. Los Angeles goes to 11-15, Las Vegas to 17-9.
Pfeiffer had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 0-2 changeup from Jack Scott, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Knights a 6-3 lead. It was the 9th home run of the year for Pfeiffer.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Pfeiffer.
