The Tampa Bay Thunder did just enough to sneak past the Los Angeles Knights, 6-5, at Camelot. Tampa Bay pitcher Melvin Palacios, in particular, had a standout performance. Akihisa Shibuya stitched up the save, his 5th. Tampa Bay has now won 3 straight, while the Knights have lost 3 in a row.

It could have been a different outcome for Tampa Bay, had it not been for Arlen Prest, the 34-year old first baseman . Prest contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Tampa Bay up, 6-3.

"It's fun when you can help the team win games," said Prest.
