Warriors Kimitaka Suzuki to Miss Year Monday, September 28th , 2015 Kimitaka Suzuki has to call it a season. The Washington (R) Warriors reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Tampa Bay (R) Thunder and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Suzuki was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 13-14 months. Suzuki has taken the mound for 26 relief appearances this season, nailing down 1 save while notching a 0-2 record with a 4.20 ERA. The Washington (R) reliever has limited opposing batters to a .242 batting average. |
