Nagi Hit Streak Reaches 38 Games Wednesday, September 23rd , 2015 Jaivata Nagi's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 38 games. The Philadelphia (R) third baseman smacked 1 hit against the Detroit (R) Motors in today's game at PBC Rookie Development Complex, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Keystones drop the game, 2-1. "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly." Jaivata Nagi grounded out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Thus far this year, Nagi is hitting .351 with 17 home runs, 68 RBIs and 67 runs scored. |
