Nagi Hits in 35 Consecutive Games Saturday, September 19th , 2015 Jaivata Nagi continued his streak at PBC Rookie Development Complex, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Philadelphia (R) third baseman was 1-for-3 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 35 games. The Keystones were not as fortunate, losing, 5-4, to the Denver (R) Cutthroats. "Nagi was hitting everything we threw at him," said Denver (R) manager Edwin Jimenes. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame and we came away with a win." Jaivata Nagi singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th, walked in the 7th and walked in the 9th. Thus far this season in 79 games, Nagi is batting .353 with 15 home runs, 64 RBIs and 65 runs scored. He has 115 hits in 326 at-bats. |
